A good education does not happen by accident.  No two students are the same, therefore it is critical that their individuality be considered at every point of their instruction.  We believe that each student deserves to receive an education based upon individually designed curriculum plans that drive classroom instruction.   All education should be strategically guided with social outcomes in mind and it should be college preparatory in nature.  Awakenings has developed such an educational approach.

Awakenings Preparatory Academy (Awakenings) is proud to announce that we have designed a program that offers students the opportunity to experience the simplicity of high-quality education.   Students at Awakenings receive strategically designed academic instruction based upon precision evaluation of their aptitude, social positioning, and set goals. At all turns, Awakenings works in partnership with parents to ensure that Awakenings students maximize the opportunity from the high-quality education afforded through the cumulative 40 years of professional staff experience and expertise at their disposal.

Affordability

The high costs of education is out of control.  Awakenings has designed its program with this in mind.  By deliberately opting for simple facilities and smartly using technology, Awakenings is able to minimize costs for families who want to give their child the advantage of a strategically driven education.  Tuition is modestly set at $8,000.00 per school year.  However, discounts are provided on a case-by-case basis.   How is this possible?

Awakenings is the project of two non-profit organizations – The Dalton Daley Group and The Gospel Revival Church.  By combining their resources, these organizations have been able to design an affordable educational approach that, historically, has contributed to the success of figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglas, and Joyce Carol Oates.
